Dr. Faisa Hassan Hamoud Ali has completed his MSc from Wageningen University, The Netherlands in Medical Biotechnology in 2008 within Metabolism and Genomics Group. He was also jointly appointed at Sana’a University, Yemen, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Faisal Hassan Hamoud Ali then earned his PhD degree in 2015 followed by Postdoctoral Studies at University Putra Malaysia (UPM), Faculty ofMedicine, in Human Nutrition & Dietetics ‘Department. He organized and chaired ofMetabolism and Genomics group at UPM. After his academic serving at UPM as Seniorlecturer, Researcher and Supervisor and later at Sana’a University as associate professor for more than 6 years. He has published more than 60 papers inreputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board Member and reviewer of peerreviewed Journals in an interdisciplinary research area.
Faisal Hassan Hamoud Ali papers were cited more than1730 times by other researchers. He has an h-index of 22. He received many awards andcertificates of merit from different countries for his scientific excellence in the areas of physiological and molecular mechanisms underlying the development of obesity and body weight loss via innovative therapies, metabolic function regulation and technology. In 2018, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Faisal has Joined Nan Yang Academy of Sciences (NAS) in Singapore as a NAS Adjunct ResearchAdvisor.
