Shereen Hamadneh currently works as an Associate Professor, Department of Maternal Child Health, Faculty of Nursing, Al al-Bayt University, Jordan. She is acting as the Assistant Dean for Quality and Development and Student Affairs.
Shereen Hamadneh has completed her PhD from School of Nursing and Midwifery, at Edith Cowan University (ECU), Australia. She also worked as an adjunct research fellow in Nursing and Midwifery Research Centre at ECU, Western Australia.
Shereen Hamadneh is a registered dietician and nutritionist in Jordan, and have her research focus on maternal and child health, and nutrition and toxicology.
Shereen Hamadneh developed an education package to improve infant care practice in Jordan and reduce risk of sudden unexpected infant death, this project was the first of its kind in Jordan, and funded by Australian Aid. She has published a number of papers in reputed journals and presented in many international conferences in regard to developing infant care practices.
Shereen Hamadneh run a number of voluntary activities, training and charities help improving infant care practice and enhance health care awareness. She established Association "Happy Baby and Happy Family" to meet her goals and enhancing infant care quality in Jordan. She also provided a number of training and education courses on neonatal health care practices in Jordan and the UAE. In 2016 she won the first place of Arab award on pediatric medical research. The main area of interest is about mother/infant health care, quality assurance, mortality, Safety, air pollution and environmental health.
