  • After secondary school, Dr. Lars Rasmusson completed training as a naval officer and graduated as sublieutenant from the Royal Naval College, Karlskrona, Sweden, in 1984. He is currently a Lieutenant in the Medical Corps, Royal Swedish Naval Reserve (RSNR), specializing in diving medicine.   
  • Undergraduate training was undertaken at the Faculty of odontology, University of Gothenburg: DDS, and at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary, University of London: MBBS. He holds licenses to practice medicine in Sweden, Norway, and the UK. He also holds a license to practice dentistry in Sweden.
  • In 1998, Rasmusson defended his thesis; On implant integration in membrane induced and grafted bone for the degree Doctor of Medicine (Ph.D.), Faculty of Medicine, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. 
  • In 2000: Board-certified specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery, Sweden.
